Hope's Pastor
Pastor Amy and her best friend, Marty.
Pastor Amy Wright
Pastor Amy is probably one of the most energetic, devoted, and empathetic pastors you will ever meet. She has many years of experience with leading worship, teaching adult and youth groups, leading creative initiatives and studies, and performing pastoral acts. She felt the Call from God to be a Pastor when she was 13 and going through Confirmation. That Call has remained steadfast and strong ever since.

She is a proud and life-long Lutheran. She grew up in Minnesota, she has a B.A. in Religion & Communication Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College, and received her Masters of Divinity at Princeton Theological Seminary.
She met the love of her life, Zach Wright, at Princeton and they have been inseparable ever since. Her husband is currently the Pastor of Bethel Lutheran Church in North East, MD.

She is here to support, uplift, to help lead and remind us of the HOPE we have in Christ. She is here to remind us all that God continuously shows up in our everyday lives, to help us acknowledge our “God-sightings”, to encourage us to grow and get to know our God that continues to claim us as “beloved”. She is here to remind us we are loved and we are enough in Christ’s eyes. She is our Pastor and is ready to continue to walk with and alongside us (and eat a lot of ice cream & BBQ chips along the way).
